Why "Origini"?

OOrigini was started by a Roman who missed the real thing — the cured meats, the cheeses, the bread and coffee you grow up with in Italy and can't quite find abroad. So he built a little piece of it here in Swieqi: a proper Italian salumeria, stocked and run the way it would be back home.

Everything on the counter is chosen for one reason — because it's genuinely good, not because it's easy to get. If it wouldn't be good enough in Italy, it doesn't belong here. That's why people who know their prosciutto keep coming back.
